Vivo Y72 5G: Slightly Overpriced Smartphone

This smartphone from Vivo is a bit overpriced as compared to its specifications. Recently the smartphone giant launched its new device, Vivo Y72 5G. It is expected to be priced above 20K INR and will be available in two colors, prism magic, and slate grey.

As per the price, this is a mid-range smartphone. But it rather has some disappointing specs. This smartphone has a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display. The resolution of the screen is FHD+. It also has a refresh rate of 90Hz. The display has an aspect ratio of 20:9 which is pretty good. The screen-to-body ratio is 90.6 percent.

This smartphone is equipped with a massive 5000mah non-removable TYP battery. Vivo claims that this smartphone uses VEG technology that improves the battery life of this smartphone by a significant level. This phone supports 18W Fast Charge which is ok

The Y72 5G has an 8-megapixel selfie camera in a teardrop style. The front camera has an aperture of f/1.8 aperture. However, unlike other smartphones at this price range, this smartphone has dual rear cameras. The rear houses a 48-megapixel primary camera with f/1.8, a 2-megapixel bokeh camera, and an LED flash.

The processor used in this smartphone is Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 which is a 5G processor. This smartphone has 8GB ram and on top of that 4GB virtual ram. Out of the box, this smartphone runs on Android 11 and Funtouch OS 11. It offers a dual sim feature, Wi-Fi 802.11ac. It runs Bluetooth 5.1 which is amazing.
