The Most awaited Gaming Console PlayStation 5 is set to launch in India on 2nd February. Pre-Orders for the same will start from 12th January at Authorized Retail Partners.

PlayStation Tweeted an announcement on 1st January about the Launch Date of PlayStation 5 in India. The Console was expected to launch in “late” 2020 but apparently didn’t. The Microsoft Xbox Series X which is the main competing Gaming Console against Playstation 5 is priced at Rs. 49990 with the Xbox Series S priced at Rs. 34990. The Pricing for Sony’s PlayStation 5 will be set at 49990 and the Digital Edition will be tagged at Rs. 39990
The New DualSense Controller will also cost Rs. 5990 in India.
The Things Revolving around the Playstation, like the Copyright Issue and stock shortages must be the reason for the delay. The Gaming Console was launched on November 12, 2020, in the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and other regions. The Date for launch in Other Regions Along with India was set to be 19th November but then Sony retracted the date from the website with no news until today.
The Pre-Booking for the Console will be starting on 12th January for Purchase on the Following Major Retailers.
