Zenfone 8 has a 5.9 inch Super AMOLED. For today’s standard size of screen 5.9 inches seems a little bit less but this makes the phone unique. It is a product of great engineering and software development. The display has a peak brightness of 700 nits. The screen supports HDR10+ content and the screen resolution is 1080 X 2400 pixels. The screen has a 446 PPI density and the refresh rate is 120Hz which is amazing. The display used on this smartphone is always on display and is protected by the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. For security, the phone has an under-display optical fingerprint scanner.


This smartphone is equipped with a 4000 mAh Li-Po non-removable battery. You might wonder that the battery capacity is quite less compared to other smartphones, but, the smaller display consumes less power and provides longer battery life. The battery on this smartphone supports fast charging at 30W. The fast charging enables the smartphone to fully charge from 0% to 100% in just 80 minutes. It also supports reverse charging which is a great feature.


The rear side of the smartphone has a dual-camera setup with a 64 MP primary camera and a 12 MP ultra-wide camera. The rear cameras can shoot 8K, 4K, and 1080p videos which is amazing. The selfie camera on the other hand is a 12 MP sensor. The selfie camera can also shoot 4K and 1080p videos.


This smartphone runs on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G which is a 5 nm-based chipset. Out of the box, the smartphone runs on Android 11 and ZenUI 8. It also has an Octa-core CPU. The smartphone comes in four variants.
