The Pixel 5a is the successor of the Pixel 4a with mostly similar specifications from Pixel 4a 5G. The Camera Bump, The Display type, and the build all mostly resemble the pixel 4a 5G. Let’s get right into the leaked specifications for the device.

Camera Specification

The Rear Camera Setup will most probably feature a dual-lens setup with an unknown sensor, with the front camera being enclosed in the punch hole on the display, it will most probably be an 8 MP sensor as seen in the previous devices. As in the case of the Unknown Sensor, it could be a PDAF (Phase Detection AutoFocus) Sensor as mentioned by OnLeaks. As seen from the renders the rear camera setup will be enclosed in a square-shaped camera bump similar to the Pixel 4a. So in short

  • Dual-lens camera setup + unknown sensor (likely PDAF)
  • Single punch-hole selfie camera located on the top left corner

Display and Build

The Build is as expected similar to Pixel 5 with slight changes to the dimensions. The Body is Plastic, with a fingerprint sensor on the back and the Google Branding at the bottom. As for the Display, It is an OLED FHD+ 6.2″ one with no curves and thin bezels. Although as seen in the renders the Bottom Bezel is bigger than others. So in short

  • Unibody (likely plastic made) rear panel
  • 156.2 x 73.2 x 8.8mm (9.4mm with the rear camera bump)
  • Flat 6.2″ OLED FHD+ display

Other Miscellaneous Specifications include the availability of the 3.5mm Headphone Jack and Stereo Speakers. We have also been let known that a Google Device has gained the BIS Certification in India and it may well be the Pixel 5a. Hopefully, we will be informed by Google about the same and have the Pixel 5a launched soon.
