Xiaomi recently gave the news that Poco will be an independent brand separating from Xiaomi, after which our hopes of the next Poco smartphone have increased. Recently there have been reports about 3 Poco phones, out of which Poco F2 Lite has received some leaks. Now Poco India General Manager C Manmohan has said that the company after its split with Xiaomi, will release its first smartphone in February. He also confirmed that Poco F2 won’t be the first phone from the brand, will go official soon.
According to the tweet shared by Poco India, its general Manager told what the first phone from the brand following its independence will be launched next month in India. The name of the phone wasn’t revealed, but earlier this month an unannounced phone alleged to be the Poco X2 has been spotted on Geekbench with 8GB of RAM and running on Android 10. There are rumors that the Poco X2 may be a rebranded version of the Redmi K30 4G variant which was recently released in China.
Poco India executive has made it clear that the company will launch multiple phones in 2020 under the Poco brand, and Poco F2 is real. Manmohan also added that the upcoming phones will run MIUI with custom Poco Launcher on top.
